The
American
Sail Training Association and Sail
San Francisco invite
you to experience the Tall Ships Challenge® 2002, a series of Tall
Ships® races and port festivals designed to celebrate the rich maritime
heritage of North America. The excitement begins in British Columbia where
the vessels will cruise in company down to Seattle. The fleet will then
race from Seattle to San Francisco, where the ships, crews and spectators
will enjoy an exciting calendar of port events designed and organized
by Sail San Francisco. The second leg of the race will start in San Francisco
and end in Los Angeles. From Los Angeles, the vessels will cruise in company
to San Diego, the Tall Ships Challenge® 2002 final port of call. Many
of these beautiful vessels will join the Tall Ships Challenge® 2002
after participating in Sail Korea 2002 and racing across the Pacific Ocean.
